Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please contact WebLab Group within 14 calendar days of the relevant purchase, unless a different period is stated on the product page, service description, quotation, invoice, or applicable agreement.
Refund requests should be sent to:
Please include:
- Your full name and account email address.
- The order number or transaction identifier.
- The name of the product or service.
- The purchase date.
- A clear explanation of the reason for the request.
- Relevant screenshots, error messages, logs, or other evidence, where the request concerns a technical problem.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the purchase, investigate the request, prevent fraud, or confirm that the requester is the account holder.
General Refund Eligibility
A full or partial refund may be considered where:
- The customer was charged more than once for the same order.
- Payment was completed but the purchased product was not delivered.
- A product contains a material defect that prevents its normal use and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
- The delivered product or service materially differs from its published description or agreed scope.
- WebLab Group cancels an order before the relevant product or service has been delivered.
- A professional service has not started and no third-party costs have been incurred.
- A refund is otherwise required by applicable law.
Refund eligibility is assessed individually based on the product, service, delivery status, usage, technical circumstances, and applicable legal requirements.
Software and License Purchases
Software products are licensed rather than sold. A refund may be available where a purchased product is not delivered, cannot be activated due to a fault attributable to WebLab Group, or contains a verified material defect that cannot be corrected.
Subject to mandatory applicable law, a change-of-mind refund may be refused after:
- A license key has been displayed, delivered, or activated.
- The software has been downloaded, installed, or used.
- The license has been linked to an account, device, server, or domain.
- A substantial amount of included functionality has been accessed.
- The customer has received a personalized or custom license.
Before requesting a refund because of a technical problem, the customer should provide reasonable information and allow WebLab Group a reasonable opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
If a software refund is approved, the related license may be revoked, deactivated, or blocked, and the customer must stop using and remove all copies of the refunded software.
Digital Content and Educational Materials
Digital content may include manuals, courses, tutorials, templates, source files, documentation, research materials, downloadable resources, and other educational products.
Subject to mandatory applicable law, refunds may be refused once digital content has been downloaded, opened, accessed, streamed, copied, or otherwise delivered.
A refund may still be considered if:
- The customer did not receive access to the purchased content.
- The file is corrupted and cannot be replaced.
- The content materially differs from its published description.
- The same product was purchased more than once by mistake.
Dissatisfaction based solely on personal expectations, learning progress, professional results, or failure to review the product description before purchase does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Subscriptions and Recurring Payments
Subscriptions may renew automatically according to the billing period displayed before purchase.
Customers may cancel future renewals through their account, through the applicable payment provider, or by contacting WebLab Group.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not normally provide a refund for a billing period that has already started, except where required by applicable law.
A refund may be considered for an unintended renewal where:
- The customer contacts WebLab Group promptly after the charge.
- The renewed service has not been materially used.
- No API credits, downloads, support, or subscription benefits were consumed.
Failure to use a subscription does not by itself create an automatic right to a refund.
API Credits and Digital Services
Payments for API credits, usage packages, cloud services, validation requests, processing quotas, or other metered services may become non-refundable once the relevant credits or resources have been consumed.
Unused prepaid credits may be refundable only where expressly stated on the relevant product page or where required by applicable law.
Temporary service interruptions, maintenance, rate limiting, or third-party infrastructure problems do not automatically qualify for a refund.
Where a prolonged disruption is directly attributable to WebLab Group, we may provide a reasonable remedy such as:
- Replacement credits.
- An extension of the service period.
- A partial refund.
- A full refund for the materially affected unused portion.
Professional Services
Professional services may include consulting, software development, system integration, configuration, technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, migration, optimization, auditing, automation, and related services.
Before work begins, a refund may be available for the amount paid, less:
- Non-refundable payment-provider charges.
- Third-party expenses already incurred.
- Work already completed.
- Time spent on analysis, planning, preparation, or consultation.
- Reserved capacity or other costs disclosed before purchase.
After work has started, any refund will normally be limited to the unused and undelivered portion of the service.
Completed services, delivered milestones, completed consultations, emergency work, and approved deliverables are generally non-refundable, except where the service materially fails to conform to the agreed scope and the issue cannot reasonably be corrected.
A customer's decision to stop a project, change requirements, withhold required access, or no longer need the service does not automatically entitle the customer to a full refund.
Server and Website Services
Server administration, website maintenance, infrastructure work, security configuration, migration, software installation, updates, backup configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting may involve work performed immediately after an order is accepted.
Charges for completed technical work, diagnostics, emergency response, system recovery, migrations, configuration, or maintenance are generally non-refundable.
A refund is not normally available where a problem results from:
- A hosting company, domain registrar, cloud provider, or other third party.
- Pre-existing malware, vulnerabilities, or configuration problems.
- Unsupported or outdated software.
- Customer modifications made before, during, or after the service.
- Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
- Loss of access or failure to maintain backups.
- Events outside the reasonable control of WebLab Group.
If WebLab Group cannot provide a paid service before work has started, the customer will normally receive a refund for the undelivered portion.
Design and Creative Services
Design services may include logos, branding materials, website designs, interfaces, advertising graphics, banners, illustrations, templates, and other creative work.
Payments for concepts, drafts, research, preparation, completed revision rounds, delivered source files, and approved design work are generally non-refundable.
If a design project is cancelled after work has started, WebLab Group may retain payment corresponding to:
- Work completed up to the cancellation date.
- Concept development and research.
- Completed revision rounds.
- Purchased fonts, stock assets, plugins, or licenses.
- Other approved third-party expenses.
Subjective dissatisfaction alone does not automatically qualify for a refund where the work conforms to the agreed brief and the included revision process has been provided.
Where delivered work materially fails to follow the agreed brief, WebLab Group should first be given a reasonable opportunity to revise or correct the work.
Advertising and Sponsored Placements
Advertising services may include banners, sponsored listings, partner offers, affiliate placements, promotional content, or other third-party advertising.
Advertising payments may become non-refundable once:
- The campaign or placement has started.
- Advertising content has been published.
- Impressions, clicks, or exposure have been delivered.
- Advertising capacity or placement dates have been reserved.
- Third-party advertising costs have been incurred.
WebLab Group does not guarantee impressions, clicks, conversions, sales, leads, revenue, search rankings, or other commercial results unless a specific guaranteed result is stated in writing.
If WebLab Group cancels an advertising placement before publication, the advertiser may receive a refund for the undelivered portion, excluding external costs already incurred.
Advertisements removed because they violate applicable law, third-party rights, these Terms of Service, or advertising requirements may not qualify for a refund.
Free Products and Resources
Free software, free tools, free educational resources, free downloads, beta access, and promotional materials do not involve a purchase price and therefore do not qualify for monetary refunds.
WebLab Group may modify or discontinue free offerings without compensation, subject to applicable law and any separate license terms.
Non-Refundable Items
Subject to mandatory applicable law, the following are generally non-refundable:
- Activated or used software licenses.
- Downloaded or accessed digital products.
- Used API credits or processing quotas.
- Completed consultations and professional services.
- Completed server, website, or emergency technical work.
- Approved or delivered design work.
- Custom-made, personalized, or commissioned products.
- Consumed subscription periods.
- Completed advertising placements.
- Third-party expenses and non-recoverable provider fees.
- Domain, hosting, stock-asset, plugin, and external-license costs.
- Orders involving fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.
Defective or Misdescribed Products
If a product or service is defective, inaccessible, or materially different from its description, please contact WebLab Group with relevant details.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, WebLab Group may offer:
- Technical assistance.
- A repair or correction.
- A replacement license or file.
- Re-performance of the affected service.
- Replacement API credits.
- A reasonable price reduction.
- A partial or full refund.
WebLab Group may first attempt to investigate and correct a technical issue before approving a refund, provided this does not unreasonably delay a remedy required by applicable law.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are generally returned through the original payment method.
Refund processing times depend on the payment provider, bank, cryptocurrency network, card issuer, and the customer's country.
WebLab Group does not control the time required for a payment provider or financial institution to display a completed refund.
Where a refund to the original payment method is not technically possible, an alternative method may be agreed, subject to identity verification, legal requirements, fees, and payment-provider restrictions.
Currency-conversion differences, blockchain network fees, bank fees, and other external charges may not be recoverable.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact WebLab Group before opening a payment dispute or chargeback so that the matter can be investigated and resolved.
Submitting a knowingly false, misleading, or fraudulent chargeback may result in:
- Suspension of the related account.
- Revocation of software licenses.
- Suspension of services or subscriptions.
- Submission of relevant order and usage evidence to the payment provider.
- Other lawful measures necessary to protect WebLab Group.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from using a lawful dispute procedure.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits any statutory guarantee, withdrawal right, repair right, replacement right, cancellation right, or other consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If applicable consumer law provides more favorable rights than this Refund Policy, the mandatory legal requirements will apply.
Statements that a product or service is non-refundable apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
